P V Raman & P L sundhareswaran Endowment Awards and Seminar (Series II)
The endowment awards instituted by former RBI General Manager K. Ramasubramanian in memory of the college's alumni, the late P.L. Sundareswaran and P.V. Raman, were presented at the college. This year, the endowment awards were instituted for four students of the Commerce Department of Government College, Chittur who excelled in academics. The function held at the Commerce Department of the college was inaugurated by Head of Department P. J. Aswathy. Students R. Sneha, V. Avinash, S. Ashina and A. Rahul Raj received the awards. The coordinator of the program, Dr. M.P. Lakshmanan presided over the function. Former RBI officer C. N. Krishnan delivered the keynote address and distributed the endowment awards. CA Ajith Sivadas led the class in the seminar held in connection with the award distribution. The seminar was held on the topic 'Indian Tax System; Structure, Changes and Prospects'. Teachers K. Pradeesh, T.U. Leena, Dr. S. T. Naseem, P. Anoop, and V. Vipin's student MR Abhirami spoke.
