The National Cadet Corps (NCC) at Government College Chittur plays a crucial role in fostering leadership, discipline, and patriotism among students. Through various camps and activities, cadets also engage in community service, promoting national integration and awareness.
NCC unit of Government College Chittur belongs to 2 COY/27 (K)BN NCC PALAKKAD. Our NCC Unit is progressed under the stewardship of ANO Dr.Capt.Rijulal.G and which comprises of both Senior Wing and Senior Division about 160 cadets. The Senior Division and Senior Wing is under the lead of SUO UDITH UNNI U.

Their involvement in various activities, including celebrations, awareness drives, and camps, has not only honed their skills but has also contributed positively to the college and the community. These experiences have instilled discipline, leadership, and a sense of duty, shaping them into responsible and well-rounded individuals.
The NCC unit remains committed to nurturing future leaders and contributing to the nation’s growth. Social services includes river side cleaning, blood donation, awareness classes. The activities carried out by the NCC cadets during the academic year 2023-24 showcased their commitment to national service, environmental awareness, and personal development. Through their active participation in events like Yoga day celebration,Anti-Drugs Day observance, advanced leadership camp ,Para Gliding Camp and Thalsainik camp the cadets demonstrated their dedication, discipline, and enthusiasm.
