Objectives

 

One of the latest research areas in literature is the movies.  Movies is one of the most appealing media for the people in and around the globe.  Taking in account of these, a film club was formed in our college.  Objectives of this club is to introduce the interested stake holders to the world of acclaimed movies.  To introduce the interested stake holders into the path of research in movies.  To conduct discussions on world renowned movies, To invite the eminent personalities to the institution so that the stake holders get a chance to interact with them and study what is happening and where is happening

Programs Conducted

 

* Film Club of our College organised a talk and discussion on “Gender and Cinema” on 17/02/2022. Harinarayanan S  was the Resource Person. More than 200 students participated in the program which was organised in collaboration with Women Cell.

 

* Student members of Film Club prepared a short film as part of an anti drug campaign.
