Staff Club Annual Report 2022-23

 

The Staff Club functions to promote camaraderie among the faculty members through the organization of programmes like Onam celebration, Christmas celebration, send-off function etc. The Principal is the President of the Staff Club. The following are the other office-bearers:

Vice President: Dr. Shenujamol. H. N, Asst. Professor, Department of Hindi

Joint Secretary: Smt. Jayanthi. C, Asst. Professor, Department of History

Treasurer: Smt. Saranya. K. P, Asst. Professor, Department of Chemistry

 

The first major programme organized by the Staff Club in 2021 was the Teachers’ Day celebration on September 05. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the programme was conducted online using Google Meet platform. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Sreekumar. B, Principal-in-Charge. The keynote address was delivered by Sri. P. Mohanan, Asst. Professor, Department of Philosophy on the topic “Gurusparsham”. Several teachers including the keynote speaker shared their reminiscences about the teachers who influenced their lives.

 

The next programme organized by the Staff Club was a send-off to the teachers, who got transferred from Govt. College Chittur to other Govt. colleges. As part of the general transfer, 11 teachers of Govt. College Chittur got transferred to various other colleges. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the send-off function was conducted online using Google Meet platform on September 09, 2021.

 

The Staff Club organized a Christmas celebration on December 21. There was cake cutting followed by lunch.
